While living in the UK, I was challenged to redesign the time keeping application for a large international news network. I reached out to a friend who worked at the company and got the inside scoop on how projects were run at the network. Discovering that they were scrum based and realizing that this same system would be utilized by journalists who are busy traveling the world and getting reports back to the network, I wanted to build a straight forward app that would make sense for all. I added a stop watch for developers and designers who tend not to pay so close attention to times and dates, added an ability to edit time, and added functionality to add time against project codes. The app was well received.
