ABOUT RENATA PHILLIPPI

Renata Phillippi is an interaction designer specializing in mobile application design, responsive web design, information architecture, database application, human-computer interaction and other allied fields. In her spare time, she also serves as a board member of Gameful, an organization for games that will change the world. Renata has extensive experience in interaction design. Renata has personal expertise in a range of software technologies, web skills and design technologies. With her education and experience, Renata has molded the focus of her company to provide design solutions for digital products by synchronizing the same with actual business needs and strategies; her efforts have enabled her company in successfully completing projects with complex and critical requirements.

Renata Phillippi has provided expertise and leadership to several projects which have recorded striking success during live implementations. Listed below are some of her major achievements:

  • A National Bank application redesigned with her assistance is being successfully used by 12 million users and the architecture of the application is being used to host all other previous applications of the bank.
  • Designed an FWA award winning mobile app.
  • Provided leadership in the redesigning of CBS News which resulted in the leapfrogging of its page views by 40%. The same video page design was later adopted by CNN.
  • Database application for a hospital designed by Renata helped in saving the hospital a sum of $30M.

Professionalism, an eye for detail, value for the client’s time, and the continued emphasis on quality are core to the professional engagements of Renata. The same values she replicates in her endeavors to fight the scourge of Human Trafficking, one of the cruelest aspects of life today. She actively participates and contributes to the institutions which are striving to put an end to human trafficking. Renata also devotes considerable time and energy in working with organizations which are involved in women empowerment.

Using her extensive experience in designing, Renata Phillippi has contributed knowledge to the book, Who Does IA? by Donna Spencer, a book on information architecture and navigation design. Her inputs and observations can also be found in another book by the name of Business Model Generation.
